Individually, these two women are both among the smartest, most talented singer-songwriters you can find playing today. Put them together and it's something to behold! It is a rare treat to catch either of these two touring in Minnesota, so we couldn't be more excited to be hosting them together, in our home!

Rose Polenzani made her debut at the 1998 Newport and Lilith Fair Festivals, and has been writing and touring ever since. She has released five albums to date, including two on Amy Ray's Daemon Records and one as a member of Voices on the Verge, alongside Jess Klein, Erin McKeown, and Beth Amsel. Her latest triumphant effort, When the River Meets the Sea (releasing May 14th), was recorded with Boston sensation Session Americana. Since releasing her first two EPs in 2002 and 2003, Rose Cousins has carved a place for herself in the songwriting community across the US and Canada, where she resides in her adopted home base of Halifax, NS. Drawing on influences from the traditions of folk, bluegrass, pop and Appalachian music, Rose's intimate vocals and warm guitar convey a passionate honesty that leaves you feeling like each of her songs could somehow belong to you.
